In particular, when they initially hung the inverter, I just felt like it was a little too low. It was totally aesthetic. I told them "Eh I just kinda wish it was a little higher". I wasn't insisting on it; I probably would have accepted it as-is, but that wasn"t good enough for Kevin. He and his team moved it without complaint. It is things like this makes the difference between a satisfied customer and an ecstatically happy customer. "

"Solar panels were installed on west-facing roof. I asked APS to install as many as would fit, in spite of partial shading from neighbor's tree in late afternoon. Yet performance has exceeded expectations, providing 73% of electric needs instead of projected 62% (not including electric car charging). My solar system will save approximately 215,695 pounds of CO2 emissions over 30 years. Other renovation features on my home: Elk brand "cool colors" roofing shingles; solar-powered attic fan; radiant barrier paint inside attic; Celbar insulation in attic and under floor; triple pane windows. "Hello and good morning! I have been waiting for my electric bill, so I called CPS, and they said that my electric bill was at ( 0 ) and asked if I wanted a paper bill, so they are sending a paper bill. It should arrive sometime this week. We are now in SA until sometime in December when we`ll be heading back up to RR for a while, again... This is what I had figured out so far - my bills for this same time last year were about a little over $900.00, and this year they are about $124.00!! As you can see it's been a great savings for us to go with the solar power system. What was really nice, was it was making power even while we were away! "I have been keeping a record comparing three items that are involved in our power usage since adding the solar panels, replacing our insulation in the attic, and replacing single-pane windows with double-pane windows on the south and west side of our house. The solar panels installation was completed in June. We have an all-electric home. Here is how the comparison looks for the last half of this year (July – December): (1) Monthly average high temperatures have been as follows: July (+5°); August (+5°); September (+5°); October (-2°); November (+2°); and December (-3°) This means that that the AC or the heater should have run more than it did for these same months in 2010. HOWEVER . . . (2) Our monthly Kw of electricity usage has been just over half of what it was in 2010, as follows: July (53%); August (56%); September (50%); October (51%); November (69%); and December (44%) (3) Our monthly electric bill for these 6 months has totaled $739.71 LESS than we paid in 2010, as follows: July ($169.66 less); August ($145.22 less); September ($165.60 less); October ($139.33 less); November ($54.73 less); and December ($65.17 less) We thought you might be interested in using these figures as you talk to prospective customers. We are quite pleased with the results of our solar panel additions and other energy-saving additions. Your counsel through the process was terrific . . . even on items that your company would not be supplying. We have seen an estimated reduction of 50-55% in our utility bills. The only regret we have is not getting the monitoring system so that we could physically see our system working. "Hope you are well and selling lots of solar. I thought you might be interested in my actual solar production for 2011 vs. the estimate you provided. And I'm pretty sure I got the calculations right this time. The estimate was for the 25 panels to provide about 62% of our electricity needs, based on an average monthly consumption of 775 kWh (9300 kWh/yr). That would be an estimated solar production of 5756 kWh. Actual percent was right on the mark -- 61%. But we used about 10% more electricity, 10,262 kWh, probably due to charging my Leaf most nights for the last 7 months. The solar panels did a great job though, with the meter showing 6268 kWh for 2011 -- 9% more than estimated! So 6268 / 10262 = 61%. Interestingly, 57% of the solar production was fed back into the grid. Hope these numbers help. I'm very pleased with my system! "
